Colin, I'm very pleased that you managed to achieve what you wanted and what you saw before. But (unfortunately?) it isn't what Plusnet Marketing want us to see. Presumably you can now also get the same look on your XP machine if you use the same Firefox add-on.
I guess the moral is that if you use AD Block or similar add-ons, then the look of a web page can be considerably altered.

@ Chris,
The basic display was what I saw months ago but the pop-up did rather spoilt it. It came on just as I grabbed it and I did not have enough time to do another one (no pun intended!). I have taken a clean one which is attached. See also my comment to RR which is interesting. Hope your life is getting less congested.

@RR,
I have just installed Adblock 2.2.3 on the XP machine and am surprised that it fails to achieve the same action, the banner display remains as before!! I did reboot but without any visible change occurring The plot thickens!

PS to Chris,
Re. #28
I did get identical images on Win 7 and XP before I fiddled.

As I said, just try a Restart with Add-ons Disabled (on the FF drop-down Help menu) and see if you still get identical on both similar to the attachment on #28.

Yes is the result, both machines display the "Official" page. Still do not know why XP will not display the" cleaned up" version when Adbloc is running
I am not sure why this all arose in the first place when it was announced that a new page was now in use. Secondly, my Win 7 crash was not far from the arrival of the security update, which M$ had to revoke, having clobbered lots of similar machines discussed on another thread. All seems fine on that front.

Each version of Adblock Plus can be configured differently, so this might be why you're seeing a difference. It might be as simple as using a different subscription list (which can be easily switched around) or it could be something else within the settings (if this is the case - you can export the settings from the one you like and import them into the other computer).
That's RPM to you!!

Thanks, I will look into that. Both machines have the same version of Adblock Plus from the same download source a day or so apart. There did not seem to be much choice of settings at the time. But will see.
