PlusNet front page...

Good to know the 'Election is under way' but was that not a few days ago? Why is the front page still showing old news?
Is it just me or is it a fault?

The BBC have made radical changes to their front page. I'm guessing the RSS feed (or whatever) that Plusnet have on the portal is no longer being updated.

The BBC RSS feeds I've subscribed to using Google Reader are all still working but I'd definitely agree that something's amiss here. I've raised an internal problem so our Web Content guys can do a bit of digging (ref: 61836).

Right, quick update...
Looks like we're going to have to get rid of the feed
BBC have changed the IP's their RSS feeds resolve to and it's an Akamai range that's pretty huge! This presents security implications as we don't really want to allow such a large range of IPs through our firewalls.

Looooooong overdue, but heads up that this should now be 'fixed' (the feed has been removed).
