If they change your account detrimentally, they have to give you one month to go elsewhere.
Even if you signed a long contract.

@pint - Nothing I can say other than my post earlier in the thread.
@vilefoxdemonofdoom
As mentioned earlier, this is for *new* customers. So detrimental terms isn't coming in to it.
Quote from: Chris The price increases will come into effect for new customers signing up from 10th June. Customers signing-up before this date will get the current pricing advertised. This will be part of a wider product refresh of which further information will be available in June.

Would an old customer re-contracting / changing contracts be regarded as a *new* customer?

Chris Parr needs to re-word what he wrote as it's misleading.
You can be a long-standing customer, but if you take out a new contract then it looks like you are faced with the price increases.

So an old customer becomes a new customer only to get a price increase.
But if they are new customers why don't they also get the special offers.
So there's actually two sorts of new. Old new and new new.
Glad that's been cleared up.

Anyone wanting to add phone and prepared to re-contract may find a call to the Customer Options Team worthwhile.

In the defence - I shouldn't really be doing this
There are two types of existing customers
Those with broadband only - no changes to their existing contract
Those with broadband and phone - no change to existing contracts
The only time things change is if a broadband only customer decides that they want to add Plusnet phone and then the phone part of the contract is whatever is valid at the time it us taken out
