Requesting more usage if necessary; has request been accepted

I don't normally need more than 10gb a month, but as I may this month, have OK'd extra charge in 1gb increments ???.
I've ticked box and submitted but page returns and seems to be asking what higher allowance I want on permanent basis.
I don't need permanent uplift; can + Net confirm my request for 1gb increments if necessary has been accepted;
page hasn't made clear.

"Text on page I'm trying to select as ticked as OK is:
Fixed cost or pay as you go?
You are currently: Pay as you go
If you use your usage allowance, your speeds will be restricted to 128k until the end of the billing month. If you think you might use more than your allowance, simply tick this box to get extra usage at your normal speed for £1.00 per GB on Options 2, 3 and Pro, or £1.25 per GB on Option 1 or Essential.   "

Hi Gel,
At present you've changed from fixed cost to PAYG, so usage will continue to be added in 1GB increments rather than your service being capped. There are a couple of options, one would be to set your maximum monthly spend here: https://portal.plus.net/data_transfer_watch/ but that would mean you're paying 1.25 for each GB you go over your limit.
The best way would probably be to temporarily change your monthly allowance here: https://portal.plus.net/products/upgrade/change_data_transfer.html That way you're only paying £1 per GB. Two caveats with that though... 1) It'll add the extra limit for both this month and next month (because we bill in advance for broadband it'll charge you in arrears for the current month but also in advance for the next) and 2) you'll need to go back and set the limit back again once you've gone past your billing date.
Hope that helps.
