What was the downstream sync before you did this? (That's what I was asking for in reply #57).

Don't restart it - Leave it on 24/7 and post the stats every day or so.

We had a power cut last night, so had to restart the router at 11:36ish on Monday 28th December 09 - router stats:-

I have just been notified by PN that the problem is fixed and closed.
All seems very stable and much faster.
