In my case I did put my discontent as mildly and civilly as possible Strat, but can you think of any other reason for the poster not providing a link to his apparently publicly available information? Which I believe exists but he may well be misinterpreting.
I cannot of course answer for the poster's replies to me, which I regard as quite high-handed.
Ofcom publications in particular need to be read as a whole, at least each Condition/Section does, and as Consumer Contract law is also involved here it is far from clear-cut what is contained in the poster's sources.
What I am almost certain of is my original points, there is no 14-day getout from connection date available to anyone and price rises within the relevant consumer price index don't trigger a getout either.

Meanwhile, back on topic...
FTTC migration happened in the early hours today with a minor hiccup - The router MTU has been set to 1492 for the time I've been with PN but I couldn't connect to websites when I changed the router login details.  My new ISP recommended an MTU of 1458 (Ticket raised at 0728 and reply received at 0744 - PN take note!) and I managed to VPN in from work later to make this change. 
All OK, subject to further testing when I get home tonight...

I'm looking around now as well. I've just checked in my accounts page and I have a cancelled cessation charge so I assume I'm out of contract (sounds about right - Feb 2014 to July 2015). I don't have an urgent need to change (although I had to bounce my connection tonight to get a decent route) but as an IT professional it does irk me to be using an ISP that appears to be inept. It comes to something when you have to think twice before telling a friend or associate what ISP you use out of embarrasment.
Eight months. Eight -ing months and they still haven't fixed the problem.

Looking at where you' r been posting, if by that you are referring to the capacity issues, I rather thought that is actually a BT capacity issue at a number of exchanges.  Such matters are out with PlusNet's control and responsibility.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

That theory has already been dismissed. Even PN accept that the issue is not related to capacity. Hopping gateways won't magic up extra capacity at my exchange. You can see on my results the recent [Censored] test:

(The bad sunday result was when the TBB tester was up the creek.
That was quickly fixed and you can see that from the later Sunday test.)
Here's the TBBQM for the whole 'episode':

The first block of red is the break that caused the hop to a bad gateway (or change of routing whatever it actually is). The later spikes around 10pm are the first bad speed test then a reconnect and better speedtests.

What about all of us with several months LRS facing a 20% rise in our calls package?
Can't cancel within the time without losing the great majority of a year's line rental already paid but have to pay the increase if we want to keep Anytime calls - does this actually comply with OFCOM rules?

Yes they are - my Anytime calls increases 20% from £5 to £6 per month.
Once my LRS does expire I still have an ongoing contract on my Fibre but I can no longer use the price increase to get out of that so I either pay the increased line rental next year or the 'laughable' LRS or I take my line rental elsewhere and loose my Fibre discount.  HOW DO I NOT LOSE OUT due to this announced increase?

The MTU issue turned out to be a red herring - I put it back to 1492 when I got home as 1458 broke Asterisk SIP registrations on my Raspberry Pi and all was (and is) well...

jeez you're right when you say they are more expensive.
ADSL "starts" at £25pm !
and FTTC "starts" at £33pm ! at least they offer 40/10 though 😛

Don't forget to knock £3.49 off those prices (assuming you take their line rental) when comparing with PN... Wink
As I said though, I didn't move because of price!

I moved FROM them to PN many years ago. Never had any issues with their service, just the cost was cheaper here (THEN)

As I said though, I didn't move because of price!

i don't take line rental from PN, so those prices i listed are like-for-like prices for me.
even with the £3.49 discount they still aren't very competitively priced!
