Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

Hi TicnTac,
Adam was in but unfortunately has had to leave early with a migraine. I've taken a look at your fault and the next step will be to book an engineer - it's your call where we go from here, would you rather book the appointment (in which case please let me know when you'd like it booking for) or wait for Adam to be in touch tomorrow morning to discuss?

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

Hey Matt, why would anyone want to leave with a migraine, 'orrible things, he should have left with a cup of tea, or a puppy or a ciggy or something  Roll_eyes Wink
I'll wait till Adam has had his migraleve and is back at work, he was on about an engineer, not sure which sort now  Undecided
Had a feeling there wouldn't be much of an Adam about today, all this stress he keeps getting at work with 90% of all other CSA's not being able to do their job properly so it all gets lumped on him  Wink Or maybe it's just faults like ours that keep going on and on and on and just grinds him down so his brain is all mushy and hurts  Undecided
Maybe he ought to go for the CEO job now instead?
Get well Adam dude, the fault isn't going to improve or get worse (touch wood) we can wait, have done for 7 months  Roll_eyes Grin

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

Hey Tim,
I'm glad to say I'm back and firing on all cylinders. We need to get you an SFI booked for the speed fault. Can you let me know when is best for you this week? I remember you mentioning anytime apart from the 7th. Just want to confirm that with you.
Sorry I've not been able to call before 4pm as you asked. Project work and a company rally mean that wasn't possible I'm afraid. I will give you a call tomorrow morning though and will obviously look out for a response in the meantime.
BTW your connection is still looking nice and stable so I'm confident we've sorted the problem with intermittent disconnections.
Adam.

Hey Tim,

Hey Adam (almost the new CEO of Plusnet) by the way, since I'm proof reading this and typing your name as I forgot it  Roll_eyes Undecided no bags have yet arrived! You are more than welcome to take some pennies out the petty cash and feel free visit and pick them up personally  Smiley

Good to hear, I'm not on the other hand Sad Yes an SFI would be good, or 20 of them would be better Smiley As for time, not tomorrow, since that won't happen now anyway  Roll_eyes The 7th, we're out with the wee one, so Thursday is out, as is Friday as I'm off to the docs. Monday next week will work Smiley

Just typical  Roll_eyes A project? A company rally? You guys planning strike action then?  Grin Or mutany in the ranks, you're getting rid of the silly new CEO, and your project is your take over plan?  Smiley Wink I'm really pleased for you and your team, it is about time you stood up and did what is right, plus, you'll have you're own office and will be able to ditch these silly little problems with ease, I hope you keep a nice team around you like Mand, Jo, Ben, Matt etc.......(who've I missed out again  Embarrassed Undecided sorry dudes!)  All the very best, it will be great to see you at the healm! I think just about every customer you have come across or has had a whiff of you on the forums will support you 100% Smiley

Adam.

It is, although more like "a farm building for housing horses or other livestock"  Roll_eyes Rather than a super high speed reliable broadband connection  Roll_eyes Take it you missed the Red Light Green Light issue? Did lose Internet, but not sync. welly strange!  Undecided However I'm not going to be too confident if that's ok, this is after all BT!  Roll_eyes
Well I be still poorly, so please get this sorted before I end up surrounded by wood and soil  Roll_eyes

..........umm response or lack there of?  Undecided
Helloooooooooo? Anyone home? or should that be at work? Roll_eyes Before someone comments I know it almost 9pm and response to this lack of response won't be responded to till tomorrow morning at about 11am - maybe someone has stolen Adam's Post-It-Notes? Maybe he's been upgraded to CEO  Grin Doubt it somehow  Undecided
...we need more smilies!  Sad
PS. I blame Mark  Sad
PPS. I wonder if Adam's response will be: "Apologies for not being able to come back to you today, other duties called."  Roll_eyesWink

Sorry I've not been able to be much help over the past few days, please continue to deal directly with support if I can't help or you can't get hold of me.
I do have time to deal with this today so I'll get you an engineer booked for next week and will give you a call later on to confirm everything and catch up with you.

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

Shocked

right ok then, this after a new website and tv campaign............and yes everything is still slow, and I thought you were support? Please book another engineer, in fact, book them all, they might as well all come at once rather than every couple of weeks dragging this out even longer  Roll_eyes
many thanks for the PM smilie link, closed the tab down so I have no idea who are now, never knew others read this thread  Roll_eyes
oh, and Adam, when have I ever been able to get a hold of you?  Undecided
before 4 if possible - ta!

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

Hiya Tim,
As per when we spoke, engineers are visiting the exchange tomorrow. I'll keep you informed as to the progress of that .
Sorry I'm not always available, primarily I'm not a support agent but I do have a lot of past experience in that area. I'm going to put extra focus into helping you out over the next week as we (including you I assume) don't want to see this get into it's 8th month.
I hope your feeling better soon, Crimfall might make you feel a bit better in the meantime:

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

engineers - plural? more than one?  Roll_eyes would be nice!
Did the wookie impersonator get their joints ripped out of their sockets - it really is amazing what you get to hear and experiance in the background of the Plusnet call centre Grin
Ta, will have a look now if the net will let me, might stop these lyrics and words spinning my head Pain if we want it, pain if you want it, pain, pain, pain, pain, pain.  Good 'ol Mr Brian Warner - a far better name that his current  Roll_eyes
Oh cripes this is so slow, even just getting to open the link - and it ain't my netbook before you say!
Nice combo of both vocals Smiley
She looks the part too doesn't she? Could be about to do a version of "I'm a little tea pot looking" at her stance!
Was this your idea of a dress up?
Wink
I have Lunatica on at the moment Smiley
>
Get your good ear on from about 2:40  Smiley

For those reading this thread and getting very confuzzled by the pictures and links, Adam know's that when I get knarked music is a good way to passify me!  Roll_eyes

Hey dude, just in case the ticket system doesn't work or you don't pick it up, no answer, no work done, nuffing  Roll_eyes  Wink I know it is now only 11:05am, but thought I'd flag it for you just in case.
PS GP 3:30pm probably won't be a good time to call  Roll_eyes
Undecided
Page 8? does this mean we'll hit month 8?

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

58mins and counting.........yes just came off the phone, poor CSA tried every DCT name I threw at him, no one was available, Matt doesn't seem to be listed? I'm guessing he isn't DCT?  Undecided
Anyway, I have virtually no upload 0.04kb/s to be accurate  Roll_eyes
are BT playing? have they played? what are they playing at?
Wondered why my pic took several mins to upload on one of my posts, just put it down to Plusnet being slow  Undecided
56mins left, you could ring whilst you're on your break  Wink
Call mobile not landline, far easier to get you out my pocket than to hobble to find the phone!

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

As per my call this afternoon, our contacts at BT wholesale are unable to get through to the engineer dispatched this morning by phone. However indications are that they are working on a fault at present.
I will check again just before 3 and give you a call around then before you leave for the GPs.

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

If you look at stat logs, you can see the line has been off and on for about an hour  Undecided
Sync. the same, upload the same as I said on the phone, pretty much not there  Undecided
What have they done?
Why would it effect the up so badly?
Maybe we both need one of these, this might solve your issue, and you never know, I could do with one of these on the line  Wink

Bet you all they've done is gone out to the exchange, unplugged, plugged back in again not knowing what they are doing, which means when the engineer comes out on Monday it will be pointless until another visit is made for the exchange again. Thus taking us into the 8 month period. BT are really bad, really really really bad.

Speak to you soon!

Re: The Plusnet curse?...7months on!!!!!

ROFL re the stabiliser,
As for needing those on my bike I think a horn  the type you get on a truck or maybe like the one Duke's of Hazard had on the General Lee would be more useful Smiley
As for Viking Garb, this is the most viking you'd ever see me (not real blood BTW, the blood this morning was real and the helmet I was wearing looks slightly different). I'll try and find the full version of that pic.

Back to mildly more serious matters, a lift and shift was done at 1.30. Could you please test your speeds and let me know how you get on? if its no better please give that original V8 a try that I sent you.
