This is one of the reasons I'm so glad I moved to PlusNet, I feel this is the best explanation I've read on this subject http://community.plus.net/blog/2012/12/21/its-unlimited-why-is-it-still-traffic-managed/ and is an example of how the Plusnet team inform and educate their customer base.
