I thought the new products (Essentials and Unlimited) become 30 days notice after 12 months, the 10 days notice is for legacy products no longer sold.

Quote Once we have provided the service, you may tell us to stop providing it at any time by giving us 30 days written notice if you're a Plusnet Essentials or Unlimited customer (sold from December 2012), or 10 days for all other packages, unless the service terms say otherwise. We can stop providing the service by giving you 10 days written notice.
One interesting question - unfair contract terms
They only need to give 10 days but we need to give 30 days
