Two working days later... Undecided

My apologies for being rude and insensitive.
I was not intending to "make things worse".... though how you come to that conclusion from my post, I do not know.
I posted, because there seemed to be no movement on the thread, and I was wondering if it had been resolved, or what.....

Re: We'll do you proud???

Hi Shutter -
It certainly hasn't been resolved. Although James has tried to escalate the matter, in fact Openreach and Plusnet just seem to be sending it backwards and forwards (each seems to be saying the other is responsible) and nothing has yet been resolved.
Now NINE DAYS has passed without a main phone. I have had missed phone calls, my business is suffering as I am having to spend so long trying to sort this out and the whole situation is deteriorating. It all comes down to processes - no-one seems to be able to use common sense and just send an engineer to sort the problem out.

Re: We'll do you proud???

I'm sorry to hear your frustration.
From what I can see, you don't have a dial tone in the house, a vulnerable relative and your voice service is provided by BT.
Would you consider phoning BT on 150 from a neighbour or phone box and to say you have no dial tone in the house? Say you have vulnerable relatives who may need to ring you.
I would also suggest you don't mention broadband or fibre so as not to complicate things. Please concentrate on getting voice back first.
Then they should organise a free incoming divert to a mobile phone while the no dial tone mess is sorted out.
When you get your dial tone back then I suggest would hassle Plusnet to restore the broadband.
