Yesterday at 11.06am I did a manual resync which raised my sync from 4256kbps to 4928kbps which almost immediately increased my IP profile to 4347kbps.
Obviously the Plusnet mirror was still at 3,500kbps
Speed test on the 17th October
Speed test on 18th October
Plusnet profile is still 3500kbps
Two questions
Why hasn't the Plusnet profile increased
Why are the speed tests showing results which seem to indicate that the Plusnet profile isn't limiting the speed
To add
With Kaspersky enabled
With Kaspersky disabled
From TBB

Had that for the past month.
Plusnet profile 6000 BT profile 6514
Was originally testing at what you would expect around 5600 but then just went up to a steady test speed of around 6300 which it stayed at for around a month.
Unfortunately last nights shenanigans dropped the (just the) internet connection. Nothing has changed (Plusnet profile 6000 BT 6514) but it's back to the usual 5600 test speed.

Hi Jim,
That certainly shouldn't happen. I'm trying to get some clarification as to what it might be.

Hi Jim,
Can't see any reason why you would get those higher results, I'd be interested to see if anyone else has the same, although this is more likely to be something relating to the speed test results rather than our profile not working.

Except my glitch lasted a month. I just assumed that Plusnet had already done something behind the scenes to cope with the new style profiles.
One thing I don't get is that although my speed is not high enough to reach the old type profile of 6500 you would have thought that as it makes a BT profile of 6514, in new money, that BT's delta report would go for 6500. I can understand it when you get say an odd one of 6495 but not when it's over 6500.

I imagine that's how it'll work once they upgrade that part of their system.
