I should have given you the stats from the router as it is now:
ADSL Link             Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 2039 kbps 88 kbps
Line Attenuation         63.5 db         37.0 db
Noise Margin         13.3 db         21.6 db
So, the disconnections has affected the Down/Up stream speeds.

Thanks for the clarification chandu, considering what you've said about the connection dropping when you use the phone we do need to arrange another engineer visit. I can see that the connection is now dropping several times a day.
I can see that you've updated the ticket so bear with us and one of my colleagues will respond ASAP.
