What I cant understand is WHY are plus net not supplying wireless N routers yet since other ISP Providers are such as BT Internet.  It a bit daft supplying old equipment dont you think????

because it costs about 3 times as much

SO what does that matter am sure plus net can get a contract with a supplier to get them cheap to give out to there customers???

The Speedtouch 585v7 is set to be replaced with the 585v8 next year. The 585v8 is wireless N compatible.

Dont say i got to wait till next year... I need a new router and dont really want to buy one when i feel i could get one from you... Is there any time span or anything you can do..

and it will still have rubbish emasculated firmware that you can't do anything with

We have no plans to send out Wireless N routers until the 585 is upgraded to v8 next year.
I'm afraid that you'll need to wait until then or buy your own.
