Just worth checking whether the exchange still has capacity  (I've got a link for T.T. and assume that given the ownership link (not sure which owns which) Opal will have similar capacity issues in some locations.

As of last night I now have no home telephone either. No Broadband and no phone. I have obviously upset someone in a previous life.

Well its the 10th and still no update. Come on Adam where are you hiding.  I suppose there are 24 hours in a day just don't try to call me at home as I don't have a working phone line anymore. I have contacted BT and the nice lady in India said that it should be fixed by Tuesday 14th. Who said changing broadband providers was a seamless process as I want to slap the living daylights out of them.

As mentioned when we spoke the other day, I could not make any promises as to getting the work done sooner than the 10th but I would still try.
Unfortunately the work could not be carried out sooner and is still scheduled to be done today.  Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you yesterday I had to divert my efforts elsewhere but I am keeping a close eye on this today. I'm sorry no one else was able to step in and help in my absence I that should have happened really if I wasn't able to respond so if I do have to step away from the forums for any reason today I will be making sure someone else helps you.

Seeing as I have no line at all at the moment I doubt I will get a resolution today. Unless however the reason I have no land line is due to BTW sorting out my broadband issues.

Hi sbsdegb1,
Sorry for the delayed update, I did chase this on Friday but did not get time to update your post I'm afraid.
To put you in the picture here on Friday I was advised that the necessary equipment needed to rectify this issue and activate your service has still not yet been delivered. The anticipated date I was given for this to arrive by was the 15th. Of course given that you've already been waiting and previous expectations had been set for this to arrive on the 10th I have escalated the issue further to senior management level. This means that your case has the utmost attention within BT now and the equipment should be obtained and fitted as a priority today.
I have been advised by the manager who now has ownership of this issue that I should receive another update around 1PM today so I will come back to you again once I've received further contact.

I am starting to give up all hope that you can provide me with broadband. I have been waiting since 17th August and I think I have been very patient. If the equipment isn't delivered until 15th it will probably take BT a week to sort anything out. As I have said on numerous times I can't understand how I had broadband until 17th and now I have nothing and no one has explained to me why other than no capacity at the exchange. Is it only Plusnet who have no capacity at the exchange as I can't believe I am the only person using that exchange who can't get broadband.
I don't even have a working phone line. I have spoken to BT and I keep getting routed to speak to people in India who just read off of a script. I have had no phone line since Thursday Lunchtime and have been told it will be working by Tuesday. I find this unacceptable and seeing that all of my issues at the moment (Broadband and Phone) are being caused by BT it just goes to show what a pityful company they have become. Its no wonder they are losing customers to other providers.

This issue is mostly out of our direct control but we are fighting your cause here.

As we rely on BT Wholesale as a supplier we don't own the capacity at your local exchange so any wholesale supplier would have been impacted by the same problem, its very unlikely (in fact quite certain) that your not the only person affected by this at the moment.
I know how painful this must be but bear with us and I'll be able to update you with what I'm hoping will be more positive news around 1PM.

Apparently I get my phone back tomorrow so that should make adding broadband a bit easier for BT. Why it vanished last Thursday is still a mystery though.
