Well, another week has nearly passed...and as you can probably guess... we are no closer at all. So people who are moaning about a 3-4 week time for getting broadband & phone installed, don't worry it could be FAR FAR worse!

Well well well, we have a working phone.. Not due to Plus.net or BTOR though.
I seen a engineer parked up in the street before, so asked him to test my line for me, he did a test outside and confirmed that the line is ACTIVE and even has the phone number from my previous house on it!! Apprently the phone line has been active since... 14th APRIL!! yep thats right...14th APRIL.
So i decided to go and purchase a faceplate and install one.. and now i have a phone line.. just need to get broadband sorted now..
Shows how useless BTOR / Plus.net are, since as this phone line has been ready for nearly 2 months

Aha, i was quite shocked tbh, more shocked when i found out that my old number had even been ported over to the line. Outbound and inbound work fine, no problems and nice and clear

I'm aware that a member of our complaints team is still dealing with this to get your Fibre service connected now that it's been established that the phone line is working(!). I am extremely shocked to hear that this was the case considering we were repeatedly told by Openreach and the contractors that the line wasn't there. Well fibre is live, now i know i can only get around 18-22mbs anyway, however these speeds are even better
1. Best Effort Test:
Download Speed : 6.93 Mbps
2. Upstream Test:
Upload Speed : 4.59 Mbps
This is on fibre!
