rDNS changed back to default

I just noticed that my rDNS, which I originally requested to be set to "my ip address". plus.com has reverted to the default "my username".plus.com
I'm a bit miffed about this and have raised a ticket already to get it changed back. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same thing happen?

I have moved this to Feedback because it may apply to fibre as well and needs sorting

Re: rDNS changed back to default

Also ours has gone back to default as well. Custom DNS record on one of our domains (hosted by PN) is still there in the configure page, so must be fault elsewhere.
There's a possibility they will have reverted back by Monday, with DNS propitiation taking up to 48 hours to completely clear an error.

Re: rDNS changed back to default

Just thinking out loud, I wonder if this might be linked to the scheduled change of static IP addresses. Easy to discount if someone didn't get the email notification but still had their rDNS revert back to default.

I did say scheduled change, as ours has not changed yet. I know that Dvorak has changed early though.

I don't believe that mine is due to change - 84.92.0.0/16 isn't in the published range?

Re: rDNS changed back to default

nope, i took the option and had it moved earlier than the due date.
it had a totally different rdns to my account name, so I then had it set to what it should be and it's now reverted to my account name.
something has gone wrong.

This was my first thought too, but my IP has not changed yet.
