Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

speed has been slower even since I reported this problem with max of 8.6 MB/s used to be 9.2 MB/s(any time), That's not improved. Latency at peak times have improved.
But last night I found my hit detection in games was terrible and after I checked my latency it had spikes.

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

same tonight, in fact same every night I try to use it.
I'll let you know when its back to normal but please keep me posted.
Also could you tell me why my download speed has dropped from 9.2 MB/s to 8.6 MB/s but IP profile has stayed the same? Would you like me to post some screen shot as I was so proud of it when it was working I took a screen shot and posted it up for others to see.
Could you also confirm my exchange or BT are not capping my connection by lowering my RWIN thanks.

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

A drop from 9.2 to 8.6 is well within the expected fluctuation you expect to see on broadband, especially when you think about the full length of the route and all the different steps that could cause such a small drop in speed.

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

No not really, it drops to 8.6 at the least at 4am. I'm lucky to hit that when things play up, not that that's the problem at hand.
Besides you guys haven't kept me informed with whats going on or replayed to my ticket in over a week.

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

Hi,
The ticket is still with as we requested that you carry out the BT Speedtester.
You've mentioned that you've been having problems completing the test as it won't accept your post code/address. If you just type in your telephone number into the box at the top, that is all that is required.
Once you completed the Speed Test, just reply to Ticket: 66036358 and we'll take it from there.

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

Ive done it already.
Two tests you wanted right?
I dont see how this is going to fix a latency spike problem but I guess you guys will right? I mean your not going to leave me with this problem and tell me if my download speed is fine then thats ok?

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

Yep, I can see the Speed Test has been completed.
The ticket hasn't been sent back to our Support Team as we were awaiting confirmation that it had been completed. I'll pass the ticket back and get it worked on for you.

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

Have you fully fixed the "pause frame" problem with one or more of your interfaces? Can you confidently say any lag spikes I see now are down to my local exchange?

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

It would seem the peak time lag is back in full force.
Anything you guys have done has been a waste of time and yet a nother mounth has passes making it 4 months now of not being able to play games on my connection when Im home from work.
1 router cost £25. I pay £40 Every month to just be connected to your router and yet it dosnt work. such a piss take, dont understand how you get away with this. cone.

Re: slightly concerned about peak times.

I've just been over the fault ticket and it looks like we got to a stage of needing an engineer but when we asked for some dates they could attend we didn't get a reply, therefore the ticket has timed out and closed now? We're happy to help fix things, however we need input and dates from your side too. I'll ask Chris Pettitt to pick this up for you again tomorrow and see what the next steps are.
