Configure HH6 as WAP

Hi All,
Having moved to new property (and lost full fibre until it's rolled out) I want to configure my old HH6 as a WAP using @Baldrick1's excellent guide, as the Master Socket (the only socket in the house) and router are too far away from the lounge and TV (we use Firestick for catch-up). Currently we have weak signal in the lounge and buffering on TV.
Now my MacBook has died and I only have an iPad. I reset the HH6, turned off the PN Home Hub Two and expected to be able to connect wirelessly to the HH6 admin page using the usual router IP address. But it doesn't connect at all?
Do I need to buy an Ethernet/Lightening adaptor for my iPad? Or is there a workaround?
Thanks

@Prologica

You did remember that the HH6 will have a different wireless SSID and change your Ipad available wireless devices to pick it up?

Fix
Hi @Baldrick1 I have forgotten most of what I learned about this process! Do you mean select BTHubxxx as the device I'm wirelessly connected to, instead of Plusnetxxx?
