Disabling Media Sharing/DLNA/etc... on Technicolor TG582n

Hi,
I have a Win7 machine operating as a media library to a WDTV Live media sharing box connected to my TV. All was well until I moved to PlusNet's Technicolor TG582n.
Each time the PC is shut down the router holds an election and elects itself to be the Master Browser. This is causing now end of issues. The media won't stream smoothly, if at all. The WDTV box won't 'see' my PC as a networked device. It only sees the Technicolor.
Should I turn off Netwrok File Server and the UPnP AV Media Server in the Toolbox > Content Sharing menu option in the router settings?
Anyone else had the same or similar issues?
