Re: Openreach Installation

Yes, but I am not OR's customer, my complaint was against the company that employed OR as I paid them. Do *you* have OR's email address?

Re: Openreach Installation

Pleas re-read the first paragraph of what you have posted. What OR don't say is some ISPs aren't aware of this notice or choose not to follow OR's instructions.

Re: Openreach Installation

Just wondered how long the process takes as I am looking to do something similar (although to SOGEA rather than FTTP),

and was curious to know when we will get to find out if your Plusnet FTTP is any better than Vodafone was over the same Openreach fibre, or whether the Plusnet Hub Two WiFi is any better than your old THG3000

Re: Openreach Installation

I'm slightly confused, can you tell me (us) on what date this 'shoddy' exterior cabling work was carried out please @cbcadmin ?

Re: Openreach Installation

It's usually quite quick, but I elected to delay mine in the vain hope Vodafone sorted something out for me. Plusnet should be better as it will be an 80/20 service against Vodafone's 40/10. Consensus of opinion is all "free" routers are the same. Not my experience with ADSL, but this is my first fibre contract.

Re: Openreach Installation

So unless I've got the wrong end of the stick, it seems there are are no grounds for now grumbling to PN, and you should have directed any complaints to Vodafone at that time. Roll_eyes

Re: Openreach Installation

I think you have been passed the muddy end of that stick. ;) My "grumble" at PN, if there was one, was about their reaction to my photo. I have stated numerous times, complaints were made to Vodafone, but all I got from them was a "redirect" to a company dealing with Or's liability claims, not the reaction given in OR's notice given on here earlier.
