Strange effect on link to Facebook

I have a strange problem with what I understand is a link to Facebook. I belong to a running club, and on the Home page of their website, there is what I understand is a link to the club's account on Facebook. On this Facebook account, some members put reports and photos of some of the running activities of those members. The account has been running for years so I have taken a look every so often to see what is going on, and am used to using it. When you go on to it, it allows you to scroll down a short list of the most recent items, but you can then persuade it to add the next few reports, and keep doing so, so I should be able to go back through these reports several years. A few months ago it still worked properly because I was able to go back several years and see me running past Carol Kirkwood doing the early morning weather forecast on the Beeb.
However, now when I scroll down it, it gets to the bottom of that initial list then adds the same list to the bottom of the initial list, so I have the same items twice. If I scroll down to the bottom of this second lot, it adds another repeat of the initial list - and so on and so on - the list can get very long but all repeats. I have asked the other club members if they have the same problem, and of the few that have replied so far, only one reports the same situation.
I dont know if this is a problem on my pc, or on Facebook. Any thoughts?

It seems I'm not the only member of the running club that has this problem, though some members claim they dont have it. I wonder if the ones that dont have this problem have misunderstood what I told them so aren't doing the test properly. Oh well!

An update to this:-
I have found that before the first copy of these photos are added to the original set, if I scroll to the bottom of the photos there is a rotating circle followed by a message "Find us on Facebook >". The circle and message are almost immediately replaced by the first copy of the photos.
If I scroll to the bottom of the second set of photos, there is a rotating circle, the message, another rotating circle, and another Facebook message. Both circles and messages are immediately replaced by another copy of the photos (just one copy, not two).
If I scroll to the bottom of the third set of photos, there are 3 sets of the rotating circle and Facebook message, all of which are replaced by one copy of the photos.
This continual addition of another circle and message to the number of circle and messages seems to go on ad infinitum.
Does this suggest to anyone what is causing this/
Thanks for any help
