X Box one not connecting wireless plusnet Hub Two

Hi everyone,

When i connect my XBox One to the wireless router Plusnet Hub Two, the Xbox shows as connected and even shows in the Hub Manager as a connected device, but with 0.0MB both downloaded and uploaded and when i try to do something on the internet I get an error message saying - DNS isn't resolving Xbox server names.

Any one any ideas,

Tried turning off and one, both router and x box, tried re-inputting the details

Re: X Box one not connecting wireless plusnet Hub Two

It'll probably be the same problem I just solved for my mother with her Roku Express!

The Hub Two insists on advertising itself as an IPv6 DNS resolver, but PlusNet doesn't support IPv6.

To turn IPv6 off properly, you need to go into the Hub Manager IPv6 section under Advanced settings, click the Configuration tab and, under IPv6 address allocation, set the Allocation mode to Off

I'm afraid to say the Hub Two really is a horrible piece of kit!

The inability to split the wifi bands into separate SSIDs is a right pain too, and the management interface is very flakey.

Anyway, hopefully this will solve your problem as well...
