My elderly father in law is in one of the Salisbury trial areas where copper lines are being replaces by fibre. In spite of being very happy with Plusnet telephone and broadband for many years, he is being forced to switch to another provider as Plusnet cannot provide a telephone service over the new fibre lines being installed in his area. He understood from previous cases on this forum that he would still be able to retain his email address by converting his account to be "email only" once his service is switched to the new provider.
So far he has attempted to contact Plusnet support on at least 3 occasions to request this and each time has been refused and told that this cannot be done, in spite of information to the contrary on this forum.
As his broadband and telephone service has now been switched to his new provider, he is now in the situation where has lost all access to his Plusnet email which is proving very difficult for him.
I am hoping that one of the Plusnet people on this forum can help get his email restored again as they have done in the past for others on this forum.

He understood from previous cases on this forum that he would still be able to retain his email address by converting his account to be "email only" once his service is switched to the new provider.
This used to be possible but I'm afraid the option of 'email only' accounts was discontinued last year.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@alanraf Plusnet stopped email only accounts about a year ago. You must be looking at historical posts.
