Re: Am I charged if an engineer visits?

@denguv It is possible they were doing exchange/line investigation, but if you have been advised of an engineer visit Friday, don't assume you now won't get one.

Wait until next week, and if things like your speed haven't improved by then, come back and say so - we can possibly find out why.

Re: Am I charged if an engineer visits?

It's all sorted now.  He arrived at 8.30am and replaced the phone socket and the modem (yes, I was surprised).  He had already done some work on the exchange side.  It's early days but the connection seems to be stable again and speedtest is consistently returning 58/19 via multiple servers within a 40 mile radius.

First time I've needed an engineer out since I switched to Plusnet several years ago and very happy with how it all went.  Thanks again for all your help folks. 🙂
