BT DNS servers

hi all, does anyone know why the following BT DNS server are not responding: 194.74.65.68, 194.74.65.69, 194.72.9.38, 194.72.9.34 there were working last week. thanks

They are all responding - they reply to me with a "refused" message, probably to indicate that they can only be used by BT broadband customers.

As ejs says...will be accessible only from a BT broadband connection

thanks, just that i was using them for months as there were my fastest and nearest (DNSBench)

194.72.6.57 and 194.73.82.242 will still work for me, although it's worth noting that BT DNS servers will direct you to a "blocked page" site for certain websites that all the big ISPs have been court ordered to block.

I wonder if BT have handed over some IP ranges to Plusnet and that their lists on the DNS servers haven't been updated?
