hi my line has decided to run slow again. (this happens every 2 / 3 months ... are BT being over sensitive?)
we were getting 55/10 now we’re getting 30/9 if we’re lucky. It appears that the line has been banded incorrectly again.
this is a bit deja vu ish. It would appear that the auto banding majigger is a bit too sensitive. When the bt engineer came out in december he said the line was supposed to be getting 55mbs and that the profile would be reset. The speed issue seems to be occurring every 3 months.
would you mind working the plusnet magic again
Here is my previous post when it went south 😕

Hi Martin,
I'm really sorry to see you're having issues again. I've tested your line today and the tests aren't showing any issues but I can see your connection has been dropping recently which is likely the cause for this.
Are you using the hub we've sent you and is it plugged into the master socket? Also what type of socket do you have?

Hi @Gandalf . On Friday I popped the plus net router back on as I suspect the draytek vigor 166 modem may have an issue.
Also as of your message I have removed the bt master faceplate and popped a filter on in place of the chubby face plate.
ANy chance the line could be reset DLM / banding so the line can re-train.
Is there a Plusnet router that can be put in bridge mode?
many thnaks

Hi Martin,
Line tests don't show much change but based on what you've done, I've put through a DLM reset for you which should take effect within the next hour but could be up to 24 hours.
The Hub Two can be configured to work in bridge mode. If you call us on 0800 013 2632 to ask for this, we'll be happy to arrange as part of a new contract. As you have a business account, the team aren't open weekends, but they'll be here Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
Let me know how it goes.

Glad to see that Martin! We’d only offer an IP block if you have a business account and have a clear rationale as to why you’d need it. We may ask for a network diagram.
We have a good article here https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/understanding-your-ip-address/ with more detail.
