Apologies for asking a question that has been asked a lot but I'm struggling and would really appreciate some advice please.
Just moved to plusnet fttp from bt. I have my old smart hub 2 and wifi discs. Was hoping to configure the bt hub to connect to plusnet (and carry on using the discs) but it just won't.
Username and password entered. Cable unplugged, plugged in. Hub restarts and stays orange. Go back into settings and it's reset to bt broadband...
I've checked the password which has to have a special character. Mine is a !.
No joy.
Am I missing a step. Or does this not work. If it doesn't work can i run the bt hub as an access point and the WiFi discs off that?
I work from home in an outbuilding that has ethernet cables to and a bt disc plugged in which gives great signal strength. Just trying to work out best to get this to work.
