Re: Can't access one website

From what I can see these NEW listed sites which are appear NOT to work are not being resolved by BT group DNS.

It is possible to force a browser to use an alternative DNS for chrome

Settings > Privacy Security >Security

Re: Can't access one website

Changed to Cloudflare DNS servers in Windows:

Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254
DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 1.1.1.1
                                              1.0.0.1

Can now see above sites!

Another website affected : https://www.bluebell-railway.com/

I've switched my DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 and all is fine

Re: Can't access one website

I have found two websites that suddenly aren't working.  I have tried 2 PCs and my mobile on wi-fi, but both work on 4G on the phone. The first one was working perfectly yesterday (I hadn't tried the other one for a while).

Re: Can't access one website

Big problems over at BT, which may link into the DNS problems pointed out here 🙄

Re: Can't access one website

I wondered that.  I have a legacy BT email account and am getting the same error message from that site.

A website I run https://railcam.uk is affected. It seems to be exclusively Plusnet, BT and EE users.

I have an inkling that the problem may be related to 123REG who host our domains.
https://downdetector.co.uk/status/123-reg/

Connected through Plusnet, I can't even contact their status page...

There appears to be numerous issues with 123-reg hosted domains today.  Earlier I was unable to access www.kitz.co.uk

Re: Can't access one website

Hi all!

Yes, there was an incident this morning that was affecting BTinternet email users and quite a lot of websites as you have shown in your listing.

Should be all sorted now. Smiley

Fast resolution too, nice to see.

Re: Can't access one website

Late to this, but I noticed a few web sites I couldn't get to earlier via my PlusNet link; assumed it was a DNS/routing problem and would be fixed. Seems to be OK now.
