Hello,
Would it be possible to carry out a DLM reset on my line please? To cut a long story short, recurring faults over the past year caused increasingly severe banding to be applied to my ADSL connection. Engineering work was carried out months ago, apparently fixing the faults, but the speed cap has remained in place since. My modem reports the following line stats:
Uptime: 13 days, 22:01:22
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps]: 888 / 3,072
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 10.5 / 18.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 13.0 / 29.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 11.5 / 15.0

I have now processed a DLM reset on the system and I will keep an eye for when it completes.

Much appreciated - the reset appears to have been successful as I now have the following line stats:
Uptime: 0 days, 3:47:58
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps]: 440 / 13,972
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 11.0 / 20.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 13.0 / 29.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 27.5 / 6.5
The downstream sync speed has quadrupled while upstream has halved, but I understand some volatility is to be expected during the training period and will continue to monitor. Many thanks for looking into this once again.
