DLM restricting DL speed to ~63Mbit when router says max is ~73Mbit

Once again the DLM I'm connected to has decided to limit my download when the connection is capable of ~10Mbit more (according to the router itself).
Last time, not that long ago it was stuck at 67Mbit but now its seems to be stuck around the 62/63Mbit.
Seems the equipment im connected to is too eager to reduce speeds. Up until this weekend I was getting over 70Mbit without problem, then I got disconnected and now its limiting (tried rebooting router a few times, but no dice).
Can this be reset or something like last time?
Thanks
p.s. When is FTTP coming to my area? Its extremely annoying that an area literally 100 steps away where to be honest few people would be interested in it (mainly retired folk) have had it available for months, where as my area on a main road and actually closer to BT infrastucture (AFAIK) does not have it at all.

Hiya @PT206, I'm sorry that you have noticed a drop in your speed.
I've ran a test and though I can see your sync is at 63mb, the profile is showing as 80mb and I'm unable to see anything that may be causing this. I've popped through a reset for you just in case though.
About the FTTP, I'm not sure to be honest. I've had a check and it's not showing as available and no mention as to when it will be sorry!

Well either something has screwed up or the reset hasn't gone through nearly a week after the reply (last one was much quicker).
Tried resetting/reconnecting a few times and router is still connecting at around the 63-64Mbit mark and max available reported still to actually be around 74/75Mbit.
Can someone put the reset through again or do I really have to go and phone CS up to get this resolved?

I wonder if the reason the reset didn't work is because there is an underlying fault?

I'm having this exact same issue (see the topic I started headed Incorrect DSLAM provisioning). They keep telling me that the issue is fixed when it clearly isn't. Not much jelp I'm afraid except that it's clear yours is not an isolated problem.

What SNR is being reported? I would expect a reset to return it to 6dB after which it should reduce to 3dB if your line will support it.

Current stats from router.
Data rate: 20000 / 64607
Maximum data rate: 25191 / 74402
Noise margin: 9.3 / 5.9
Line attenuation: 5.4 / 7.5
Signal attenuation: 5.4 / 7.5
While I'm no expert, stats seem fine to me.
@mdubash About 3 months ago my line was stuck at exactly 67000 too (seems an artificial limit), asked for a reset and it connected at about ~72000 until recently, now its stuck at the 62-64 mark, current 64607 is fastest I've seen since.
Line was rock stable (as its always been) until weekend before last, then disconnected/reconnected back at lower speeds since.

@PT206 Those look OK to me - although your actual data rate could be better, given your attenuation..

OK, a reset seems to have gone through early this morning.
Getting 73367 down now, stats are stable too.
Hopefully this will last! 😄
