Email contact for PlusNet

Hi all,

I am thinking of moving on to Plus Net for broadband (fibre) and wanted to ask a few questions to customer service before making my decision.

However, I cannot not find an email contact or an online form on the PlusNet webiste. It seems the only way to contact PlusNet is by phone (who still uses the phone these days? not me) or on "X", which is a fascist-friendly platform only accessible to those who have an account on the platform. This is making me quite weary of moving on to PlusNet. Did I miss something? Thanks for any help!

- Leonos

Re: Email contact for PlusNet

@Leonos Plusnet have never Had email for this purpose - you can call them - if you have phone (of any kind) , you can use the 'X' channel - many do - or you can ask your questions on here. There are a number of Community members with many years of experience who are happy to help, and there is also the PN 'Community Team' who visit and will pick up on questions.

Re: Email contact for PlusNet

Thanks @jab1 , that is what I was afraid of... But maybe the forum can help. I am planning to move to a new place which is currently serviced by PlusNet, and I imagine PlusNet would want to keep, or rather, gain a new client. I know how much the current occupier is paying and I would like to know if we could get a similar agreement.

Thank you

- Leonos.

Re: Email contact for PlusNet

What service does the current occupier have - are you intending taking the same? How long have they been a customer - they may have negotiated a favourable tariff if they have been with PN for a while - you, as a new account, would most likely be paying the currently advertised 'new customer' prices.

Re: Email contact for PlusNet

Thanks @jab1 , indeed, I am asking if as a new customer I could pay the same as the previous occupier, I imagine only a PlusNet employee could guarantee this so I'll wait to see if someone pops up!

Re: Email contact for PlusNet

As a new customer, you would be paying the advertised 'new customer' price as I said above. How much 'discount' is the current occupier getting, as against that quoted price?

Re: Email contact for PlusNet

Hi John - They are paying a lot less than what is advertised for new customers.

Re: Email contact for PlusNet

That is because they have been with the company for a long time, and have obviously negotiated a reduced price - as I did over the nearly 10 years I was with PN.
