Good call, Dan. I agree. If it all comes back clear, time for the thinking caps?

We had a similar outage with the Deco router for 2 days running. As of this morning, I've now reverted to the Hub Two router as the Deco's logs were useless.
Engineer tested the line including master socket when he visited last week and couldn't find any fault.
I've used the quiet line test, the line sounds fine at all times, including during the 7 minute outage that we have just been through this morning (log below). The only interesting moment was that there was a crackle as the quiet-line test got dropped, but it seems that those calls get dropped after a period - I got similar results when I tried again after the broadband connection was re-established.
I've been thinking about the possibility of a passing vehicle, but didn't notice anything at the time the connection was dropped.
I'm yet to have any opportunity to speak to neighbours about any chance of identifying potential source of interference or to find out if anyone else suffer similarly. Might get round to it at the weekend.

Hi, during this outage what colour was the front light and was it flashing?
Did the Hub restore the connection without you doing anything?
Dan.

Didn't actually check it on this occasion as it is out of the way in the loft, but previously has been noted to be flashing orange.
It always reconnects without intervention, but often takes about 7 minutes.

I'm going to be out for a while, but that extract looks a little strange to me - there should be more data on that top line - like the upstream rate and SNR levels - and that 30000kbps figure makes me wonder if something is wrong somewhere?
Also, @ojstroud , was there anything in the entries prior to the bottom entry?

Full event log for today is attached. I'd tried to tidy up the data via Excel/Word to make it more readable for posting, but clipped out:
Up Rate=4882kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.8dB Up=5.9dB
Nothing of interest before the cut-off event. We've been at 27400 kbps recently, I notice 29??? on the Deco, so the 30000 isn't particularly surprising to me.

Hi
I see
11:28:19, 02 Feb. DSL Link Up: Down Rate=30000kbps, Up Rate=4924kbps; SNR Margin Down=6.9dB, Up=6.0dB
Is this your usual line speed +/- some kbps?
The tidying up of the event log as messed up some of the line, probably caused by line wrap, can you upload a none edited one please?
Be nice to see a screen shot of the technical log page as this provides details of the line and signal attenuation. Hide you broadband username.
Regarding the master socket is it in the loft with the Hub or else where, does it have a filtered faceplate? How many phone extensions due you have? Any idea if the extension sockets are daisy chained or star feed?

Please see attached screenshot and full log. Speed is inline with my expectations. The only slight surprise is that it's not getting reduced with each drop.
The line comes into the loft and straight to the master socket. I think the socket is only a few years old, it has built-in filters with user-facing adsl & phone sockets. There was no usable engineering socket when I last looked, but I can't disturb it again now. There are no phone extension cables, just a dect phone base also in the loft (with phones used around the home). Following Openreach engineer's suggestion last week, we disconnected everything (ethernet cables, tv amplifier, surge-protection, extension gang and Dect phones) leaving just the router connected on its own in the loft. We still had an outage at the same rough time the next day.

Thanks for the log etc..
What is really strange is the DSL Link goes down for around 7 minutes most times, for a noise spike the expected recovery is around 2 minutes.
I think the Hub can be discounted as you said the TP-Link device was doing the same.
But something is happening for the DSL link to go down, has the ticket you had opened for this issue been closed? If it hasn't you need to report you're still having issue.

I spoke with the Openreach engineer today (he was good enough to leave his number as I was out when he visited). He reckons it will need a specialist REIN engineer to get any further. I've spoken with Plusnet again this evening, but apparently it can't be escalated to REIN until we've had a second engineer visit (within 28 days). So 2nd engineer is now expected tomorrow morning.
Will post here if we make any significant progress!

One of the xDSL up messages reported 27mbp with a 8.1dB SNRM - looks as though there is a deal of noise / theline is being managed aggressively.
Will routerstats (see the link below) work with the TP router ... or by any chance do you have a Plusnet Hub One router (BTHH5a)?
