Currently, according to OpenReach, the even numbers of our street (not us) can get Superfast broadband up to 76Mbps, with a promise of Ultrafast by Dec-2024.
The odd numbers (ie ourselves) are also promised 'up to 76Mbps' with Ultrafast between now & Dec-2026 ...
we actually get 15Mbps.
OR have recently upgraded the pole at the bottom of the garden (well, about 15meters away) and it now includes nice shiny fibre boxes at the top. That was confirmed by the engineer who came to re-connect our line, which got messed up when the pole was upgraded.
How long do you think we need to wait before someone will actually provide a link from the pole to our house? And is it a job for OR or someone else?

@JohnofYork If the infrastructure is there, then sight of this: https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL , (with personal details removed) will give us a better idea. Please include the full page, including the narrative at the bottom.

Further to @jab1 's post, the link between the pole and your house will only be installed when you've actually placed an order.

@JohnofYork It appears from the above that you may have to wait until more work is done to allow you to get FTTP.
I do not understand the 'ultrafast' comment - that actually refers to FTTC/VDSL, which you already have, albeit with a long 'final mile of copper, which is restricting your speed. Out of interest, what are your router stats (assuming you you use a PN Hub)?

In the left one I can read “now and Dec 2026” - what is the full text “available sometime between now and December 2026”? That would make all of the other information correct - not yet available but being rolled out during the next 12 months.

'Ultrafast' is is FTTP - Full Fibre, which is apparently being installed in your area. Froom your attenuation figures, FTTC, which you are on, cannot deliver fast speed, due to the long length of copper cabling in your connection, as shown in the attenuation figures.
