Hello,
I am changing my broadband from Fibre Extra to FTTP. There were a couple of engineer visits to do a survey etc and I think the last one has changed to box outside (I wasn't around as I didn't know that they were visiting). Since then broadband speed fell from 75/20 to 27/9. There were no changes to the router (Fritzbox 7530) settings.
The router stats are below:

I believe that the change to FTTP should happen in a few weeks, haven't yet got confirmation of the engineer's appointment. I am wondering whether it would be possible to check the line for any faults? I know it will only be a few weeks but it would be nice to know what might have caused this massive speed drop.
Thank you
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Hello again,
Just noticed that the thread's title is wrong, sorry.
The speed keeps dropping and the router records lots of errors, which wasn't the case a week ago and before the engineer's visit. The line has been stable on 78/20 for years and it is quite strange that now can't even get half of that.

Hey @enas,
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having issues with the speeds lately. I've had a look into this and I can see that since this thread was posted, a phone fault was raised to investigate underlying landline issues. Our Faults Team will monitor the outcome and let you know once an update is available. If you have any further queries or issues in the meantime then please don't hesitate to get back in touch and we will be happy to assist.

Thank you @TheMightyAJ .
Very quick and efficient sevice by the plusnet telephone support.
A very friendly openreach engineer arrived today and sorted out the issue: apparently when the new grey box was installed outside the other day, one of the cables was almost cut.
All up and running at usual speeds for now. Looking forward to going full fibre in a few weeks.
Thanks again,
