Fibre constant disconnects

Openreach modem DSL started dropping out after being up for maybe minute drops out for 5+ only to go up for another minute then drop again - all evening. Have restarted all equipment multiple times, checked router settings, no changes in setup have been made

First thing to check: Is your phoneline clear? Dial 17070 (preferably from a corded phone), select option 2. Once your phone number is confirmed, there should be silence on the line except for the regular 'Quiet Line Test' message - any other noise, report a PHONE problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/

If the phone test passes, report a broadband problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/

Let us know the result - if the tests come back as clear but you still have a problem, we need to investigate further.

The above assumes you still have 'normal' landline connection - if you have a SOGEA (internet only) one, just use the second link to report a network issue.

Phone was clear
Ran diagnostics HELP and REFRESH
Help said no problems
REFRESH could not connect (obviously)
Dropped out during both multiple times

OK. You probably have an OR network problem. Try submitting a fault report via::https://faults.plus.net .

If that fails, or you are still told there is no problem, we'll have to look into sorting it the long way, but hopefully that course of action can be avoided.

You say 'modem' do you have a separste Openreach modem and a Plusnet router? If so which one? Either way, what hardware are you using and what are the lights doing when you have a drop oot?

Separate openreach fibre modem with my own router for internal network. Issue has also resolved itself after 5 hours last night so appears to have been an external OR issue.
DSL light would go out for 5-10 mins then come back on and connection would restore for maybe 1-2 mins before dropping again, repeating for about 5 hours. Connection restored about midnight and has been up ever since
