My little boy accidentally pulled the wire that plugs into the wall the DSL line i think it maybe called? I’ve plugged it back in and it keeps flashing orange now and won’t connect to the internet
Fixed! Go to the fix.

@tina12 Welcome to the forums. Providing the cable plugs securely into the socket, and there is no obvious damage to either the cable or DSL socket, try rebooting the Hub - use a paper clip or similar in the 'reset' hole on the back/bottom of the Hub until the light goes green, then give it five minutes or so to reconfigure.

It is possible pulling it out without using the little 'release tab' on the connector has damaged the inside of the connection, in which case you will need a new cable - they are not repairable.

Then I am afraid it sounds like the actual socket is damaged, which will need an OpenReach visit which you will have to arrange via Plusnet tomorrow, which they may charge you for. Is your Master socket a 'Master Socket 5c' with a 'Mark4' faceplate? If so, try unclipping the faceplate and reseating it.

If it's newish Master socket then it'll have a test socket behind the face plate. Take said plate off and plug directly into this (not forgetting the filter).
