Just a heads up, we've suddenly jumped up to 37mbps again.

 

I think I'm going to try getting my hands on another router and changing all the wires.

Is there a list anyway of every router I can use with my plusnet broadband, just to make sure I don't acquire the wrong one.

 

Failing that, I'll just bite the bullet and pay plusnet for a new hub and see if that works.

Any VDSL capable router will work - in other words virtually any on the market these days - but make sure it is a VDSL one, and not a 'cable' one.

See my previous post for cheap routers just to test. Unless you have specific requirements, the BT Smart Hub is a decent choice with the advantage that you can separate the 2.4 & 5GHz SSID. WiFi coverage in my experience is also decent.
