Line fault fixed, now stuck at 0.5Mbps

Last weekend my phone line lost connection and broadband limped along at 2Mbps once it reconnected after hours of failed tries. After reporting the fault via text I lost connection for 36 hours.

Engineer came on Wednesday and fixed phone line and seemingly broadband via the cabinet outside.
Speed looked to be about 1Mbps, so I waited a few hours before restarting router. Appears I lost connectiion twice next day dropping me to 0.5Mbps.

Will me speed return to normal soon by itself, or does something need doing to removed throttle?

Before the fault I got between 9-12Mbps.

My currents stats
DSL uptime:1 Day 4 Hrs 5 Mins
Data rate:1.212 Mbps / 575 Kbps
Maximum data rate:1.212 Mbps / 10.016 Mbps
Noise margin:6.3 / 31.6
Line attenuation:14.3 / 28.0
Signal attenuation:14.6 / 27.9
VPI/VCI:0/38
Modulation:G.992.5(ADSL2+)
Latency type:Interleaved
Upstream error control:Off
Downstream error control:Off

Re: Line fault fixed, now stuck at 0.5Mbps

@AJ_777 Whatever the OR engineer did to your connection, it may have fixed the phone service, but  you still have a major issue with the broadband side of the service, If nothing else, the downstream SNR of 31.6 will  be the major obstacle. I  suggest you raise a BROADBAND fault via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/ and request another OR visit. Note this will not be actioned before Monday of next week.
