Moving home - Unlimited Fibre Extra to Unlimited broadband 10 months remaining on contract Options?

Current house I have unlimited fibre extra with 10 months left on my contract, will be moving in the next month to new house which postcode checker is telling me I can only get Unlimited broadband, the speeds are way to slow due to the need of working from home. What are my options? Currently pay £25.13 per month. Any help much appreciated, thank you

@bex552 The postcode check is not that reliable. Do you know the current phone number of the property you will be moving to?

I do know the number yes, and when i put that in the checker too its still coming up t he same, broadband only

OK, @bex552 , can you post a screenshot of that page - I wonder if you are moving to a Full Fibre priority exchange area?

Have you checked to see if WBC FTTP is available?

If not it’ll probably be the choice between taking the slower service or paying the cancellation charge.

Yuk, @bex552 - That is definitely not good, but that is all you are going to get. Out of curiosity, which exchange is it on?

I don't know the area, but looking at that, it must be VERY rural.

Would you consider Virgin - If it WAS available?

Thats the annoying thing it really isnt! It is classed as a village but it is one of uks biggest! Where i currently live has a similar population which is why i dint think i would have a problem! Its only 4 miles away from cheltenham!

Yes i would consider virgin, the only problem with that is they are not sure the house can get virgin either, they have to send an engineer out to check!

If others in the area (local streets) can, then the chances are you may be lucky - all depends if your street has been cabled. Virgin should know this without having to send out an engineer.
