Moving house need advice please

Hello,
Bit of background I currently have fttc broadband with unlimited Call landline and I'm moving next month and a bit and I'm feeling really anxious about what I need to do? I'm moving to care for my disabled partner and there contract is up but mine has 11 months left so I'll be taking mine with me.
1) when I move can I landline services I'm hard of hearing and can hear more clearly on my landline, I'm not bothered about keeping number plus my partner has a fall alarm so its vital!
2) will my contract renew its current 11 months left and I don't want to be locked into another 2 years.
3) Can I leave my plusnet contract without charge if they don't offer a phone service if I move as its vital I have a landline.

Help is much appreciated thank you.

@Sdb98 You say your partners contract is up - so they still have a service, but are paying out of contract prices?

What services do they currently have - and with whom?

To be honest, if you need a landline and your partner has an associated alarm, I personally would get the contract renewed there, and take the hit on your account, unfortunately there will be ETCs, but it is not possible, AFAIK, to move a contract to a new property and retain a phone service - the OpenReach 'stop sell' rules just won't allow it.

@Sdb98

Are you registered with PN as a "vunerable" person? If not, login to your PN portal and look under My Account.

Is your partner with PN? If they are, are they registered with PN as vunerable.

Do either of you use PN e-mail addresses? You lose access the day you close an account.

Landlines are on there way out so you will need to investigate if your partner's fall alarm works with digital lines (VOIP). If not, then they may need to upgrade.
