My broadband can't hold a connection

I have been having issues with my broadband since Thursday evening (3rd March 2022).

My hub will connect and show the blue light,yet it can't hold a connection and will disconnect randomly for no reason.It has been doing this up to several times an hour in some cases!

I have tried texting the broadband troubleshooting number but the problem is still outstanding.Not sure if its a fault on the line or if my router is faulty as it will connect but cant guarantee for how long?

Any help appreciated

I'm really sorry to see you're having connection issues.

I've tested your line today and the tests are showing what's known as a high resistance fault, so I'd like to arrange an engineer from Openreach with you to investigate further. Could you reply to the support ticket Here with when you'll be available for a visit? If you can post back once you've responded, I'll make sure we book the engineer as soon as we can. 

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Issues such as this can usually be readily identified by checking the telephone line for dial tone or noise. If there is no dial tone or the line is noisy reporting a PHONE fault is usually more proficient than attempting to report a broadband fault.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
