Same here, seems quite random. Some pages wont load at all, some load everything apart from images etc it's pretty much unusable. Glad it's not just me so hopefully it's fixed soon.
Changing router DNS is unlikely to do anything since there's no issues resolving IP addresses. There's a routing problem coming out of the BT network. Might not be Cloudflare unless it was the next hop.
Tracing route to 193.67.161.214 over a maximum of 30 hops

Same here. Traceroute to asr.com shown below. Currently totally unusable through a normal connection.
If you need access to a site that is not working, try the TOR browser which will bypass normal routing on the Plusnet/BT network. It's not the fastest experience, but at least it is giving me a reliable connection.
I guess a VPN might work also.

Literally made an account to say I have similar issues.
Trying to play FiveM tonight and its just constantly timing out and not connecting. Someone advised downloading ProtonVPN and apparently its working better through there... Ironically its taking over an hour to download as we speak.
Changing DNS servers isn't making any difference currently.
Discord has also had problems this evening with connecting and content taking ages to load.
Ironically doing a speedtest on fast.com still gets me 1Gbps.
The cloudflare speed test thing was around 2-3mbps though...

That's because the issue lies with Cloudflare, its been reported but with it being the weekend it could be a while before its fixed.

Similar problem here.
Upload/download speed test looks ok but...
Accessing websites is very slow this evening.
Some kind of DNS problem?

Downdetector confirms many having an issue from this afternoon. As above it's only certain sites slow to load. Even though this is the Broadband forum I'm full fibre, and until now it's been reliable - none of the occasional PN DNS issues from before.

Genuinely thought my Pi-Hole had completely broke (I was about to submit a return request for it), when I lost my connection, took my Pi-Hole out of the network and got back on-line.
Pi-Hole then switched on it's own internal DNS system called "Unbound" and I moved the entire network back onto it, and I've had no issues since, Pi-Hole saw there was DNS issues (when going through Cloudflare) and has been reported them since 3pm this afternoon.
Thanks for all the information everyone, really helped me when I couldn't find out what was going on.

@juzzyp somewhat off topic -
Have you seen Pi-hole in the last few days had a huge rewrite and update to version 6

It's probably worth doing an upgrade to get the latest version before fiddling with your setup on the old code.

You don't want 'Vlad The Impaler' to invade your Pi-Hole!
