New Router

I appreciate I am going to be told to call up, but I am unable to do so, so I would really appreciate somebody getting in touch with me. 

My Grandson has run full diagnostics on the router, which will not stay "blue". This is one of the older models, and unfortunately it has given up. 

Can somebody arrange for a replacement to be sent. PM me if needed.

@daveashton1956  Welcome to the Community forum.

This could well be a network, not hub, fault. Try reporting it using the mobile bot, see  https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/#broadband.

He has brought around his plusnet router and configured it to my internet and had it all working fine. Obviously I cant keep his router, but it as least established this is what the problem was.

No doubt a Plusnet staffer will come along soon and pick this up for you.

Are you aware that you can add your Grandson to your account as an authorised person. This would not enable him to change your contract but it would mean that he could ring in and report such problems as this for you.
