Re: Possible Hot Vlan

@Faizan786

Looking at your connection details there is an issue of some sort, the Line attenuation reading is extremely high for the reported Maximum data rate.

Also the slow upload speeds might cause issues during a cloud saves or similar due to router buffer bloat.

I would suggest reporting a fault using the instructions found here:- https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/

Re: Possible Hot Vlan

As @Dan_the_Van Says above, you clearly have a line/connection issue - just report it.

Re: Possible Hot Vlan

@Faizan786

You have included further information about your connection this time

Some thing is wrong, looking at the Hubs reported modulation says you have a ADSL connection

What product are you on?

Re: Possible Hot Vlan

Checking again G_993_2_ANNEX_B is VDSL. but I would not expect to see VPI/VCI settings as those are usually for ADSL

True, but this IS a BT Hub!  and probably old firmware ?

@Faizan786

It would be helpful it you upload the event log from your Hub

Should be found in > Advanced settings >Technical Log >Event Log. There should be an option to save or export the event log, it is saved to your devices download folder

Use the paper clip icon below to attach it to a post.

Re: Possible Hot Vlan

I have followed your advice and sent event log. Many thanks, hopefully it could get sorted remotely as it only happens in the evening. Last time it was hot vlan and bt moved me over. Let's see what you get from event logs.

Re: Possible Hot Vlan

Yes a bt hub. It was suggested by this forum years back when people were having major issues with plusnet. To be honest ive never looked at any issues at all since getting bthub until now.
