I have just had fibre to the house installed and all is well with that.
However the small box (not Hub2) mounted on the wall the the Ethernet cable connects to also has a power supply.
Is it possible to replace that power supply with one that has a longer wire? I have had to run an extension cable to plug it in.
Thanks All.

I don't think that's something Openreach would do, at least I've never heard of them doing it! Though there isn't anything stopping you from buying and swapping over the power supply if you can find one with the right spec that meets your needs. The spec for it should be printed on the power supply. The one I've got is 12.0v at 1.0A with the center pin being positive. I think it might be a 5.5mm jack on it, but that's just going from memory. It's also possible that you have a different ONT to me, as I'm sure they changed at one put and I've had mine quite a while. I don't know if they have the same power supplies.

For info , the Openreach SIN 506 https://www.openreach.co.uk/cpportal/content/dam/cpportal/public/images-and-documents/home/help-and-... defines exactly what the power connector for the ONT is ( page 27 )
This https://www.amazon.co.uk/Smedz-10M-DC-Power-Extension-Black/dp/B07FP1R7RC/ref=asc_df_B07FP1R7RC/?tag... looks like it might have the correct dimensions for an extension cable
