Hi, I've been with plusnet for a couple of years now, happy and would get speeds of 35-40mbps consistently.
For the past month, the speed drops to below 10mbps in the evenings and on weekends and can shoot up to 25, drop etc, it feels like my bandwidth is being throttled...
There have been no changes to the network, it's secure and the only connected devices are my own. I've raised a support ticket but they just came back with "I've done a test and it looks fine".
Could someone have a look please?
I'm using a wired ethernet connection, the only devices connected are my kids tablets and my PC, but I've had their devices off for hours and still get issues.

Funnily enough, this has pushed me to purchasing a Full Fibre package (which I didn't realise were now available in my area).
It's a month to wait for the installation, but it would be good if someone could still look at this in the short term please.

Hi Joe,
I'm really sorry to see that you're having issues. I've tested your line and the tests aren't showing any issues with your router getting a stable speed of around 48mbps. Are you still using the router we've sent you a few years ago? If so would you be able to try the new router we're about to send on the back of the full fibre order?
This will work for your existing service as well, if you're unsure how to set it up we've got a good guide here https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-setup-guides/hub-two/

Hi guys, just wanted to say that installing the Plusnet hub 2 via broadband line seems to have fixed this issue, the issue was clearly my old hardware. Many thanks for taking the time to look into for me
