Slow speed in evenings and night time.

Is it just me? The connection seem to me quite good daytime but gets extremely slow once the Support lines close
I thought it was bad luck or heatwave causes some issues but it just gest worse.

Reseting the hub helps. Sometimes. For some time. Next day and the same problem. Download speed 1 Mbps.

What connection are you on ADS/FTTC?

First thing to check: Is your phoneline clear? Dial 17070 (preferably from a corded phone), select option 2. Once your phone number is confirmed, there should be silence on the line except for the regular 'Quiet Line Test' message - any other noise, report a PHONE problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/

If the phone test passes, report a broadband problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/

Let us know the result - if the tests come back as clear but you still have a problem, we need to investigate further.

If you submit a report outside those hours, it will be queued and and picked up during them.

Being a text service, I doubt it is necessary to be at home to use it.

@Iloveplusnot It's found an external fault. It is an Earth Contact on the line and should be fixed within the next few days.
