Solid orange light

Our router is displaying a solid orange light. We have tried restarting the hub, factory resetting the hub & also turning the power on and off.

We have also tried accessing the hub manager online to check that our details are correct (username@plusdsl.net) but it will not let me connect my router to the internet. It will also only let us connect to the page when the DSL cable is unplugged, otherwise it says ‘PPP CONNECTING’ but does not load.

Can somebody please advise how to fix this as we seem to have tried most fixes and all helplines are now closed?

Re: Solid orange light

@alexmakel Is this by any chance a new connection, or is it a failure of a previously active one? Which Hub are you using?

Re: Solid orange light

Hi John,

It’s a previously active unit, we’ve had it for 4 years and not had this issue before, very strange.

It’s a hub one router.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Solid orange light

Thanks for confirming the Hub model. Which of the conditions in the list below fits your lights?

Re: Solid orange light

Hi John,

None of the above unfortunately.

Power light (LED 1) is staying orange but no other lights are flashing or displaying an error code.

Re: Solid orange light

In that case, I'm stumped - hopefully someone else may have an idea, but it may be tomorrow before anyone picks this up.

Re: Solid orange light

Is this a Hub 1 (long thin main LED, other LEDs below) or a hub 2 (nice big circular LED)?

Sorry, I'll try reconnecting my eyes, see if they see better 🙂

@alexmakel

Have you a cable plugged into the WAN port, for a DSL connection this should not be used.

Re: Solid orange light

Hi Dan,

No cable plugged into the WAN port at all.

Thanks,
Alex
