Sudden speed drop and Router disconnections

I wonder if anyone can help with this. Router rebooted 4 times this morning on it's own, also noticed drop in speed. I use my broadband over wi-fi and usually my download speed is around 60-61.Testing my speed after router reboots gave me a reading of 50. I have tried the usual checks to no avail and still only getting speeds of 50. The router itself is about 4 years old so I'm wondering if the router is the problem.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Re: Sudden speed drop and Router disconnections

This problem seems to have sorted itself out, I switched on this morning and speed back to normal. Must have been one of those unknown/explainable glitches.
