You do you, John.
So, back on track, why do you think the user has Wi-Fi drop outs at around 11pm-1am every evening?
OS updates?
Wi-Fi interference from the kids playing GTA5 online?
Everyone in the house streaming their Netflix shows before bed?
Pigeons nesting?
Or is it that evil, pesky ISP doing it just to make his 11pm-1am life harder?

I'm sorry if it seemed rude that your message was read and then I didn't respond immediately, at least to acknowledge your message. I'm afraid that I was working and just shut down the tab without thinking. I also didn't mean to make a mountain out of a mole-hill, as suggested.
This forum exists and so I thought that I would try it as my first port of call. However your response (and that of others) suggests that you are volunteers who don't really have the time (or perhaps the people skills) to deal with queries from people who need a bit of help and time even to frame the question. This isn't your job and you certainly don't have to spend your time messaging people on the forum. Thanks for taking the time to respond at all, but I think the sensible thing is for me to call plusnet's helpline and they can talk me through it.

@RMKA OK - apology accepted 😀
Apart from those whose avatars include the word 'STAFF' we are all Community members who try to help each other. My initial response was merely meant to try and get something for us to work with - unfortunately your initial post gave us nothing.

From the original post, it is impossible to determine, hence why I asked the couple of questions I did.

I'm often sarcastic and flippant, that's just how I am.
If you truly are experiencing dropouts at the period you mention you might want to do a ping on your device and get a screenshot of it.
If on windows, run a command prompt and do "ping google.co.uk" and show the latency.
Anything above 40ms COULD imply network issues. But I just cannot see WHY it would manifest at that time.

@YouKnowIThatGuy When you are trying to help people on a board like this, it is useful to stick to the facts - saves a lot of time and aggro.

But it can also be fun, considering he's still getting an internet connection.
I'd put on my concerned face if he had continuous dropouts and no internet for long periods.
We rely so much these days on the internet, but if you get some network negotiation dropouts at peak usage times in a built up area, that's just how the cookie crumbles.
You can only blame the nature of ADSL2+ and the promise to throw so much data down copper lines.

And my ultimate advice is: if you want a solid network connection, use a cable!

Is the OP on ADSL though? That was one of the questions I initially asked but didn't get a reply to. With respect to the OP, they don't appear that IT competent, so from experience (lots of it) I tend to start with the basics.
I had ADSL2+ for a long time, and ADSL1 /56k dial-up prior to that so I am well aware of the limitations/problems, but apart from BT network-related problems, no real concerns, and yes I do live in a built-up area, quite a distance from the exchange. Not so much of a problem now I'm on FTTC with the cab ~390m away, though.
EDIT, following yours - cables are not always practical, although they are obviously preferable. Wouldn't like to have to reconfigure my house to be able to use them safely.

It's not a urine distance challenge or about who is wrong and who is right. It's about a solution.
And I don't think either of us can say we've reached a conclusion.

I agree, and without more detail from the OP, we won't.

Hi @RMKA,
I'm really, really sorry if this thread hasn't been the greatest first impression of our forums here. People do come here with the best intentions of helping each other out, but I can certainly appreciate that you might want to take some time before getting back to us after dropping your initial message.
I've had a look over the broadband account that I've been able to locate this morning and I can see that the connection is currently performing as we'd expect it to from our end of things. Though I haven't been able to test the line between 11PM-1AM, our RADIUS reports show the connection has remained stable for the last 10 days, which leads me to believe it may be an issue between the router and the devices connecting to it. Are you connecting the devices via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable and have you noticed whether or not the problem only affects certain devices during that timeframe?
